Happy New Year, everyone!

I got a party to go to later...being the total loser that I am, i was having trouble sleeping and i instead decided to pick out my outfit for the party, which is being held by my freind Katie. She even offered the girls a chance to sleep over afterwards, because she knew that probably most of us would be drinking *shh, don't tell anyone*

So yeah, I'mma gonna be partying hardy on New Year's Eve...There will surely be some stories to tell that my mother wouldn't be pleased to hear

Well, this week is the last week before we get out for Winter Break...everything's gonna be kinda chill this week because, you know, the holidays. Tomorrow's the last day of school...and you know what? I get to wear my PJs to school because it's Pajama Day tomorrow! I know exactly what I am going to wear, too...my Patriots nightshirt, and a pair of blue and red plaid flannel pants...Since we're allowed to wear slippers, i have these pair of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer slippers with light up noses that i'm going to wear. I was saving them for Christmas,but ifigured what te hell, i'll wear 'em to school...I'm braiding my hair into pigtails, too. Very cute...and comfortable, too!

Aww shit, i had something else i wanted to say, but i totally forgot...and now i have to go back to class! I'll probably figure it out in class, that always seems to happen to me...i forget something then remember it when it's not needed >_<

Wow, i almost forgot about this blog...how stupid of me!

Well, i got more projects and shit dumped on me right after Halloween, and i've barely had enough time to BREATHE, let alone blog...seems like they do that every year, give us little to no work for the first couple of months, then right after Halloween...BAM!! A project/paper in every subject but math, plus all the normal stuff like tests and whatnot. Luckily, however, i have most of that stuff cleared up and awaiting the due date

Hmm, interesting...the Sox traded for Curt Schilling this week. I've been a bad fan, i really haven't paid too much attention to the off-season wheelings and dealings. I think this is a good thing cuz now we finally have an excellent pitcher to back up Pedro. I'm just praying that Nomar doesn't end up getting traded...the thought of that happening makes me sick to my stomach like you wouldn't believe...

Thanksgiving was pretty decent, we had dinner with the rest of our family at my grandmom's house in Brookline. Spent most of the night either eating or watching football with the guys...or both. Fun times, man...

I don't know about you, but i'm getting oretty damn excited for Christmas. Already some people in our neighborhood are putting up Christmas lights, and the radio stations are playing Christmas music...I <3 it!!!

YEah, yeah, i know i haven't updated in over two weeks, but i was too demoralized by the Red Sox's loss in Game 7...and then after i got over that, i got a whole spate of work for school to be done. So now that most of that stuff is done and handed in or done and awaiting the due date, i have decided to blog again...

THE YANKEES LOSE!!!!!!!!!! THEEEEEEEEEEEEE YANKEES LOSE!!!!

LOL, that was a great game last night...While i wish it were the Red Sox in the series, i am really glad that the Marlins were able to take the hated Yankees down. Josh Beckett, man...what more can i say? BEAUTIFUL!!

So congrats to the Florida Marlins on the World Series win...Red Sox Nation thanks you!(at least I do!)

the Red Sox beat the Yankees, 3-2, to even the series 2-2...man, that was a good game:) I was watchin' it while doing my math homework, which obviously didn't sit well with my mom. but she'll have to get used to it, especially if the Sox get to the World Series, because i will be doing that a lot shuld that happen.

*sigh* my mom just doesn't understand

Unfortunately, the Red Sox lost 4-3 to the Yankees >_<

It was a pretty wild game, too...i just wish the Sox had been able to pull it out...But never fear, i think the Sox will come back. I can totally see this series going the full 7 games.

Oh, and the Cubs are absolutely KILLING the Marlins, 8-3...

When it's all said and done, it's going to be a Cubs-Red Sox World Series....at least, i hope so. Should that happen, i am heading straight to the church for confession cuz that surely would be a sign of Armageddon. I believe it would be called the "When Hell Freezes Over" Series....boy, how much fun would that be?

I am so umbelievably happy that i don't know where to begin...

Last night, the Red Sox, after an extremely tense 9th inning, were finally able to put away the Oakland A's. The final score of the game was 4-3. Boy, oh boy was i happy! And it wasn't just me, either...i could hear people screaming from all over outside. Fenway Park is about ten minutes from my house, and i heard that people were gathering there...I wanted to go down and join them but my mom, being the kill-joy that she is wouldn't let me...it was a school night she told me. Sorry mom, but fuck school...this is the Red Sox! Well, she DID say i could go nuts if they got to the World Series so she's not a total buzzkill.

It was crazy in school today...the only other time i've ever seen mostly everyone all hyped up and stuff was the Monday after the Pats won the Super Bowl in early 02. There were Sox wear as far as the eye could see. Let me tell you what I was wearing...I had on the Cowboy Up shirt, my gray Pedro jersey, my favorite worn in flares with the frayed bottom, my Red Sox hoodie, and my Red Sox hat(backwards of course! With my hair in braided pigtails and tied off with red and navy scrunchies). I even saw one of the cheerleaders wearing the athletic stripe Sox jersey dress...stupid bitch, I wanted to be the first to wear that. Some of my classes, we didn't do anything and had a free day cuz the teacher could tell we weren't listening...like in history. Now normally, my history teacher is this really strait-laced, by the book kinda guy who always makes us work....but today, he didn't! He was wearing a Cowboy Up shirt over his dress shirt and tie...I don't even think HE wanted to teach today...we just spent the rest of the period talking about the game.

So today was a lot of fun...I wish everyday would be like that. Everyone would totally flip out if the Sox ended up winning the World Series. That would totally make not only my junior year of high school ,but just maybe, my entire life...the only thing that would probably top that is when i get married, and i don't even think it will.

Sad, isn't it? Ah, such is a life as a long-suffering citizen of Red Sox Nation...(wish i knew how to make layouts for this, i'd have made a Sox one to celebrate)
